Tom Herndon’s Upcoming Release

Agustín and the Hidden Compass

A historical LGBTQ+ romance adventure!

In the summer of 1765, Agustín’s world shatters with the death of his mother, and he finds himself adrift in grief. His journey begins when a compassionate young priest helps him heal, only for tragedy to strike again. Seeking purpose, Agustín joins the merchant ship Sophia, embarking on an epic adventure across oceans and personal trials that will test his bravery and resilience.

This is not just a story of adventure; it’s a heartfelt exploration of love, loss, and the bonds that can guide us home.

Agustin and the Hidden Compass was an excellent book which emotionally moved me throughout. It was beautifully written and I was thoroughly entertained. Definitely recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars (I’m a harsh reviewer and don’t give 5 stars out easily so this is an impressive achievement!)

Reviews

Definitely a good book, one of the strongest ones I’ve come across. The story is tense, action-packed, memorable, and offers some fantastic representation for LGBTQ+ people. It was also incredibly emotional—whether I was feeling grief, sadness, joy, despair, or something I can’t quite describe, this story really resonated with me.

- Jamie

A straight guy’s view of a queer guy’s gem of a novel—a truly enchanting odyssey through vivid inner and outer territories. A treasure indeed!

Henry Craft, queer cop, remodeling the little fixer-upper he bought with his husband, tears up some carpet and discovers a large blood stain in the flooring of the living room. He’s convinced the blood is related to a cold case that haunted him for years.

Joseph Whitebird sits on death row awaiting execution for a crime he didn’t commit. Henry believes the evidence he just found might be the justice he thought he’d lost, enough to free Whitebird, and reveal the truth about “The Beast”—the killer who murdered a family of four.

Henry has three weeks to figure it out.
